What is GAP Cover?

Gap cover is a short term insurance product that helps you cover in hospital shortfalls that your medical aid does not cover, the shortfalls occur when your selected in hospital doctor and/or specialists rates are more than what your medical aid will pay. View the Kaelo Gap Brochure here.

Why do I need GAP Cover?

Many medical disciplines are increasing their charges at a rate much higher than that of inflation. Some specialists now charge up to 500% of medical aid rates, meaning that you and your family are required to meet the financial shortfalls that exist between what the medical aid covers and the actual charge of the specialist.

Should you wish to take up the Kaelo Gap cover please complete the application with all supporting documentation i.e. ID copies or Birth certificates and submit to your HR person or log a call with HR Shared Services for submission. Do not submit directly to Kaelo.
