Death is not something anyone likes to think about, let alone plan for, but you need to ensure your family will be taken care of should you die while in service with the company. If you die in service, your dependants will receive a lump sum death benefit.

 Update GLA & Beneficiary Nominees Forms

Please ensure you complete and update your GLA Form annually in April as well as your Beneficiary Nominees Form regularly, ensure the forms are completed fully with all supporting documentation and given to your HR person for submission. Do not submit directly to Sanlam or Alexander Forbes. 

Member Booklet

You may select which pay-out option you prefer from a range of 2 times lump-sum pay-out up to 10 times. The contribution to Group Life Assurance will depend on pay-out option selected and this is paid as a % of your fixed cost to company as a company contribution.

 Your dependants will receive 4 times your fixed Annual salary should you die while in service. The Group Life Benefit is taxed upfront so that your dependants receive a tax-free lump sum payout.
